Jason's "Love me, love my beard" button was given to all the guests. Let's look at his guys...10 of 13 are sporting beards. A hirsute revolution??
Watching the snow fall today made us think back to Jamie & Jeff’s winter wedding. Who else other than a true western New Yorker would give her girls UGGS as bridesmaid gifts
A beautiful day to match a beautiful bride… A great group of friends and family, warm & welcoming. A lovely country club setting for the reception. A hopping dancefloor… all add up to a wonderful, unforgettable wedding! Congratulations to Jen & Jason, and a thank-you for making us a part of your special day.
We love compliments on our work, and the biggest compliment we can receive is being booked to photograph a wedding because the bride & groom had spent the day with us at a previous wedding, experienced our personality and shooting style, viewed the results, and decided that they, too, wanted us to be the ones to capture their wedding for them. Such was the case of Jaclyn & Scott, a wonderful couple who had attended two previous weddings that we photographed, and knew that we were the studio for them… They chose a beautiful day, with both the ceremony and reception the the Yodeler Lodge in Ellicottville’s Holiday Valley Resort.
The studio was abuzz last Tuesday, as we hosted Rochester Wedding magazine for a cover portrait shoot. The lovely ladies at RW.com brought their favorite dresses and tiaras from David’s Bridal, flower bouquets came from the incredible Lisa Meyer at Flower Power Decor, I brought in T-Love to work her magic on hair & make-up, and Heather, Kathryn, Kristen, and Holliann wanted to be brides for a day… The results speak for themselves: beautiful imagery all around.
As the snow continues to fly (I should know better than to think it’s almost over by now), I like to look back the the autumn and some wonderful engagement portraits that we shot in my favorite season. The leaves are blazing with color, the breeze has that wonderful smell to it, and the air is crisp.
